Out of Hand Theater Presents: Shirley Chisholm: Unbossed and Unbowed (flyer & QR Code attached)
(Atlanta, GA.) – Out of Hand Theater and the Partnership for Southern Equity proudly present the production of Shirley Chisholm: Unbossed and Unbowed, written and performed by Ingrid Griffith. This one-woman play follows Shirley Chisholm, the first African American woman to run for the President of the United States. Many called her the Black Joan of Arc, but she called herself “Fighting Shirley” as she faced off against the political machine of the 1960s and 70s in the name of justice.
In partnership with Drew Charter School, Out of Hand Theater will offer a special showing of Shirley Chisholm: Unbossed and Unbowed on Friday, March 24th, at 4:00 pm. Please use the QR Code to register for this great performance as we continue to honor great women that have shaped history during Women’s History Month.
The Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) wants to hear from all parents of students with disabilities. Each year the GaDOE reports on Indicator 8: The percentage of parents who report that the school facilitated parent involvement. The GaDOE uses a survey that is disseminated statewide to measure this indicator. This your time to give feedback and your participation is both important and valued. The ten-questions electronic survey is available online only. Our goal is to have 100% participation!

Typically, high school is the time when young Eagles are maturing and are prepared to fly on their own. Encourage this independent practice. They will still need the watchful eye to guide them in their development and learning. Please do so during breaks and refrain from interrupting live instruction for the benefit of the students and teachers. The slideshow will include some additional ways you can support your learner in the virtual environment.
