MARK YOUR CALENDARS
Current student re-enrollment open through March 17th!!
Thank you to all the parent/guardians who have already completed their student’s re-enrollment! If your rising 1st-12th grader is returning to Drew for the 2023-2024 school year, re-enrollment must be completed by March 17st to secure your students’ seats for the 2023-2024 school year. Enrolling parent/guardians of rising 1st through 12th graders received an email with the subject line “2023-2024 online re-enrollment form for your Drew student(s)” on Wednesday, March 1. Alternatively, you may sign into your household’s account using this link: https://drewcharterschool.schoolmint.net/signin. Once logged in, click the green “Re-Enroll” button to begin.
Students in transition grades (rising 6th and rising 9th) as well as any student who has moved and requires an address update will be required to submit current proof-of-residency documents as a part of their re-enrollment. For these students, there will be an option to upload proof-of-residency documents when completing the online re-enrollment form.
Please note: Students currently in the Cox Pre-K Program should submit a 2023-2024 lottery application by April 30th to be included in the kindergarten lottery and do not complete re-enrollment.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation in completing your student’s re-enrollment. This information helps us determine how many seats to offer during our admissions lottery and ensure we have accurate, up-to-date information for all students. If you do NOT plan on your student returning to Drew next year, do not complete the re-enrollment form. Please let us know your plans by emailing enrollment@drewcharterschool.org. Additional re-enrollment information can be found here. Please contact us at enrollment@drewcharterschool.org or 404-450-0567 with any questions.

Seeking Engineering Opportunities for the 2023-2024 School Year (For SA)
Drew is seeking partnerships with innovative companies that value diversity and inclusion for our high school seniors interested in careers in engineering. These partnerships intend to provide our students with internships, mentoring, and professional development while allowing them to contribute actively to the success of the partnering organization. You can click here if you’d like to learn more about this opportunity.
If you are part of an organization that would be interested in partnering with Drew Charter School to host an intern or if you have suggestions of organizations that you would be willing to share who may be interested in partnering with us, please get in touch with Beth White, Drew’s Engineering Internship Coordinator, at beth.white@drewcharterschool.org.
Parent Survey Link is LIVE!
The Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) wants to hear from all parents of students with disabilities. Each year the GaDOE reports on Indicator 8: The percentage of parents who report that the school facilitated parent involvement. The GaDOE uses a survey that is disseminated statewide to measure this indicator. This your time to give feedback and your participation is both important and valued. The ten-questions electronic survey is available online only. Our goal is to have 100% participation!
Yearbooks for the 2022-2023 school year are currently for sale. Please use this link to pre-order your yearbook. All yearbooks will be delivered to students in May.

Typically, high school is the time when young Eagles are maturing and are prepared to fly on their own. Encourage this independent practice. They will still need the watchful eye to guide them in their development and learning. Please do so during breaks and refrain from interrupting live instruction for the benefit of the students and teachers. The slideshow will include some additional ways you can support your learner in the virtual environment.
