Announcements

I recognize that this is a difficult time for parents and students. The level of uncertainty is troubling and at times can feel overwhelming. I encourage you to contact our counselors if you or your student need support.

You can also receive support via a free, confidential Crisis Text Line, with trained Crisis Counselors, by texting SHARE to 741741. (This is a national resource that is available 24/7).

Drew Opportunity Fund: First Initiative

Last school year, Drew Charter launched its inaugural annual fund campaign, the Drew Opportunity Fund, in honor of our retiring Head of School Don Doran.  Under Mr. Doran’s leadership Drew students had myriad opportunities to innovate, achieve, travel and compete, all of which help to close the opportunity gap and make Drew an exemplary learning community.

As this is a new initiative for Drew, please encourage others to participate, feel free to share ideas for support, and join me in making a donation to this year’s campaign if you haven’t already.  The more we raise, the more we can do!

The Re-enrollment Process for 2020-2021 Updates

  • Re-enrollment Updates: Deadline for rising 6th and 9th graders and anyone who has moved to upload proof-of-residency documents is Friday, May 1

Students in transition grades (rising 6th and rising 9th graders) and any student who has moved and requires an address update in our system are required to submit current proof-of-residency documents as a part of re-enrollment for the 2020-2021 school year. They may do so electronically (step-by-step instructions), by May 1, 2020, or in-person at a later, to-be-determined time. Parent/guardians of all students who fall into these categories have been notified. Thank you to those who have already completed this!

For parents/guardians of students who do not fall into one of the above categories, there are no next steps to re-enroll your child beyond completing the online re-enrollment form and you should have already received your re-enrollment verification email.
