Attention Junior and Senior Academy Parents:

We hope that you and your students are having great summer breaks.  One of the things that sets Drew apart is our small size, which allows us to get to know our students and families better.  In a recent parent meeting, a parent suggested that we host informal potluck events that would give teachers, staff, parents and guardians the opportunity to meet and get to know each other.  We are excited to host the first of these events next Wednesday from 12:00-1:00 pm.  We are looking for parents/guardians to contribute food to feed approximately 50 staff and a significant number of families for lunch.  Sutanya Wright, a Senior Academy parent, and Donzaleigh Arrington, a Junior Academy parent, have agreed to help coordinate the event.  If you are interested in participating, please email the parent for your student’s academy.  Sutanya can be reached at mamasucando@gmail.com and Donzaleigh can be reached at donzaleigh-11@msn.com.  We need support in providing all types of dishes, as well as plates, cups, plastic utensils and napkins.  Thank you in advance and we look forward to seeing many of you next Wednesday.
