WE HAD A TIME LAST WEEK!
A MESSAGE FROM MR. MYERS,
Good afternoon parents,
We are finally here and what a great week 1! Our teachers and students were excited to be back in the building and spent some time team building and getting acclimated to Senior Academy practices. As we welcomed students back into the building for learning, we also really got a chance to explore the building and beyond. Freshmen and Sophomores explored campus with an informative and fun scavenger hunt, Juniors took a trip to breakout rooms, and Seniors engaged in some teambuilding activities at a high ropes course.
We culminated this week with a great Opening Assembly followed by a fun-filled evening at Midnight Madness. I hope that your student had a memorable first week of school –above you will see some images from week 1. We look forward to having an amazing year and continuing to engage with all students. Please be sure to read through the blog for a summary of information.

Drew Mask and COVID-19 Policy
COVID Safety and Testing Update:
Based on the current CDC guidance regarding local COVID-19 Community Levels, we will continue our mask requirement for staff and visitors. Students are also strongly encouraged to wear masks since we are still in a high community transmission area. This requirement is based on the most current CDC guidance and information regarding transmission levels for Dekalb and Fulton counties, which can be viewed here.

Typically, high school is the time when young Eagles are maturing and are prepared to fly on their own. Encourage this independent practice. They will still need the watchful eye to guide them in their development and learning. Please do so during breaks and refrain from interrupting live instruction for the benefit of the students and teachers. The slideshow will include some additional ways you can support your learner in the virtual environment.
