The STEAM Team is excited to bring back our annual Career Day Programs to our Drew Eagles!
This year, we have brought more opportunities for students to be exposed to STEAM careers by introducing Careers Over Cookies for the Senior Academy! Seniors can visit with professionals they are interested in seeing during their advisory period from October 21st-24th.
Do you know anyone that would like to speak to our eager Eagles? With so many opportunities, we’d love your help and input getting speakers and professionals to talk with students. If you have any recommendations, please fill out the EA/JA Form or the Careers Over Cookies Form!

IT’S TIME TO SHAPE UP!

The SA Robotics Team volunteered to help with a children’s activity at last week’s East Atlanta Strut ~ they came up with the idea of making a robot arm out of popsicle sticks and demonstrating a robot that they made for a competition last year. The students worked all day Saturday preparing for the event and running the activity!
Awa Bousso, Krista Fongeh, Laila Shannon, Kenadie Smith, Marielle Hill-Lyn, Michael Boney, Kalani Lanes, Jackson Humphries, Nylah Colquitt and Langston Jones!
Ms. Jones for creating and implementing a rubric for students in Study Skills that allows them to monitor their daily progress!
Mr. Kinney for visiting Ms. McDaniel’s ELA support class and continuing to collaborate to provide more engaging and innovative instruction for students!
Mr. Wynn, Ms. Riley, Mrs. Schaffer, and the John and Lillian Miles Lewis foundation for organizing an impactful Voter Registration Drive in front of the John Lewis Memorial!
