WEEK 3: Stay Consistent.

This school year our will hallways look at little different. Over the course of this past summer, we’ve worked tenaciously to ensure our students’ return to new spaces that foster their desire to learn and grow. Many of these spaces await final touches so we ask your patience as we continue to work towards completing this process. In all, these spaces will optimize how we serve our Senior Academy students, provide small group instruction, and maximize learning.

  • Senior Academy staff for remaining diligent and consistent throughout the week!
  • Mrs. Mitchell, Coach Weems, and our East Lake partners for hosting an engaging meet and greet for Drew golfers!
  • Mrs. McKenzie-Brown and everyone that assisted with facilitating and implementing MAP testing this past week!
  • Mr. O and Mrs. Klein for jumping in with collaboration on analyzing the elements of commercials!
  • Senior team for their engaging trailer entry event for their interdisciplinary project “Defining the Monster”!
  • Mr. Stephens for his work with students on Integrating Healthy Behaviors into Esports participation!
    • Special shoutout to Joy Postell for taking initiative and assisting her peers in class!
  • Mrs. Denard, Mrs. Chase and everyone that supported with the ACCA sendoff this week!
  • Mrs. McDuffie-West, Dr. Anderson, and Mr. Anderson for your support and flexibility!
  • Mrs. Lowe for your consistent initiative and follow-through!
  • Mrs. Lester for the successful execution of senior pictures!
  • All staff that actively engaged students in Advisory and Power 45 lessons!
  • SROs and all staff members that were intentional ensuring a smooth fire drill this past week!
  • Every staff member that has been proactive, solution-oriented, and intentional in their actions, conversations and feedback – it is invaluable to our growth and productivity – thank you!
